Book Review: Small but full of information
Summary: 5 Stars
Yes this is a 51 page Booklet, however there is so much information packed into those 51 pages that it is well worth buying and reading. I found most of the information rather intuitive, yet it took this book to make me go "of course!". I was to the point with two of my dogs of just letting them fight it out and then deal with the vet bills after. McConnell recognizes this frustration and also recognizes that it is really a bad idea. Her techniques are helping me deal with the situation. The only thing that I wish she would have added to her "why reaching into a dog fight is a bad idea" is that pulling one dog off of the other can actually do MORE damage than if you use the body blocks that she suggests. So even if you're not afraid of your dog turning on you, it's still better to break up the fight her way.
