Book Review: What is everyone's problem with this book?

I simply do not understand all the negative reviews here. This is a Stephanie Plum book, folks, not a Pulitzer Prize-winning book. Anyone familiar with the Plum series knows what they are getting into when they pick up one of these books. They are not meant to be taken as seriously as people are taking them here. What's with the deep analyses? This is light, fun reading at its best. The characters are goofy, but they are meant to be. I've become a regular fan of "Stephanie Plum" series. Evanovich is a fabulous writer. I've read this one and the previous 13 books in this series. I'm looking forward to the 15th I think is coming in June or July. Lots of humor about the character's family...her grandma is the best. Some love thrown in, adventure, and all sorts of great things. I highly recommend her books, especially this series, to anyone who wants to sit down to a great read.

This is the best series from Janet Evanovich. I love Stephanie Plum as if she were one of my close friends. I feel all of the people in this series are my friends and I can't wait to find out what they'e up to ever year. Kind of like a Christmas letter that comes once a year. Find out who has done what to whom. If you want to laugh out loud and have tears in your eyes from crying so hard from laughter - please read this series. Once again Stephanie Plum and her cohorts entertained me. I have read all of this series and get laughs every time. I saw Janet Evanovich on the Today show a couple of weeks ago. She said one of her books will possibly be made into a movie or a TV show. Hopefully the "powers that be" will make it happen soon. I understand it has already been several years. This would be a welcome change from some of the things they are showing now.
