I have to say, I don't know if we are all reading the same book as I had quite a few laughs. Yes, Ranger's part was small and grandma and the video games was a bit--out there, but all in all, it lived up to my waiting for it in anticipation of Stephanie Plum antics. We didn't blow up the cars every minute, but that is not to say it was without explosion. And Carl had me a bit worried when he left the apartment of his own volition and made it down the elevator, but he survived. I read this in less than 24 hours from the release and would have finished it the first day if work hadn't interfered on the next morning. I can't wait for 15!Book Review: As Great As Ever!

This latest book in the Plum series is great! I can't wait to get Plum Spooky. I laughed and laughed just like I always do with all the Plum books and Lorelei King is still the best reader for the series. She has the characters down to a t and just like I hear them when reading them. I love CJ Critt reading other things, but Lorelei is the master at the Plum series. If you haven't ever listened to the books please go back and listen to all the ones Lorelei has read and you will laugh even harder than reading them. This one is great and I can't wait for Finger Lickin' Fifteen! Yay..Evanovich and the Plum series! Keep up the great work!Book Review: Fun reading - just what I expected!

I'm a high school English teacher. During the school year my "pleasure" reading involves challenging, thought-provoking reading. During the summer I just won't to be entertained! I don't want to have to "think" about what I'm reading. Fearless Fourteen is pure entertainment, and I thank Janet for another good read. The novel is exactly what I expect from Janet - fun. Surely those of us who are true "numbers" fans expect this from Janet. I'm glad I didn't follow the advice of some of the reviewers - if so, I would never have purchased the novel. If you are a true Plum fan, you'll enjoy the novel. Keep them coming, Janet!Book Review: Hilarious - Pure Plum!

This book is another roll on the floor funny addition to the Stephanie Plum treasury. There is just no one else like her. Yes, much of it is unbelievable - unless you are in the middle of reading it and then it just flows. This one is a gem - don't miss it! Mooner is a riot, Gary the Stalker is perfect, and Brenda adds her own little sparkle to everything. Janet Evanovich has a great ear for dialogue (Lula comes to mind!) and a finely honed sense of the ridiculous. Her prose is so well developed that every scene unfolds in your mind, visually complete and delicious. A true treat!Book Review: Still lovin' Plum

I hate that this book has gotten such bad reviews. Yes, it is not as explosive as some of the previous books, but it is still classic Plum. Granted I would LOVED to have seen MORE of Ranger, Grandma, and the funeral home viewings, but the same odd quirky things still keep happening in this story as well. Mooner was a great add back in this story and Gary the stalker was priceless. It would have been fun to see Joyce show up and start looking for the money too. Anywho, it wasn't bad enough to discourage me from reading #15, I can't wait until June!!!
