Book Review: I wish I had this book as a little girl!
Summary: 5 Stars
I have a four-year-old daughter, and this is the perfect book (and series) for her and her age set. The girls can all relate to how fancy Nancy appears all the time, and I love all the great new vocabulary words my daughter has picked up from Nancy's "fancy" words. Great (and clever) illustrations, too. I now buy this book as a birthday gift for any of my daughter's friends who don't yet have it, and it's an instant hit. This is a can't miss book! This book is cute, fun and entertaining. My daughter is 3 and LOVES to dress up. I've always limited this to at home only, but after reading the book it got me thinking, honestly... why? They're only young once and if it makes her feel good, why not?!?
It's a cute book. We now have 3, Fancy Nancy, Fancy Nancy and the Posh Puppy, and Fancy Nancy and the boy from Paris. I plan on buying the rest, although I wasn't as into the Posh Puppy or the Bon jour Butterfly ones as she was.
Book Review: This is the BEST book EVER!!!

I have rarely read a book to my children over and over and not wanted to tear my hair out. This book is the exception! My kids are 2-10 yrs and each of them sits in on a reading of Fancy Nancy. They laugh and roll their eyes. They gigle and then ask me to read it again and and again. I always do and bedtime usually creeps up before we know it. Nothing say happiness like a father with kids well read and ready for bed. Fancy Nancy IS the best book ever!

Book Review: This one's great! But the rest don't compare.

We love this book. I've read this to my now 4 year old daughter countless times. The concept is great. The story is engaging. The art is fitting. This will no doubt be a classic for my kids. Unfortunately, the other books in the "Fancy Nancy" series don't compare. We've gone through a few other titles, but none of the others have the same magic as this book.
I highly recommend this original work, but the other "Fancy Nancy" books leave much to be desired.

My 3 year old daughter can't stop talking about this book!
From the bold pictures to the warm story, this is a must-have book for anyone who has an imaginative little girl.
I especially like the fact that Fancy Nancy has a family that's willing to listen to her wants and needs... while helping her out when everything doesn't go according to plan.
Everytime my daughter asks for ice cream now.. she wants it with Fancy Nancy's sprinkles on top!
