Book Reviews of Family Recipe Collection BookBook Review: collections Summary: 5 Stars
This is just what I wanted, it has a lot of room to put your info in.
I realy like it.
Book Review: Extremely useful Summary: 4 Stars
I got this for my wife, who had asked for a place to keep recipes. This is a great storage solution, because it allows so many different formats: clippings, printouts, the included cards and full-page recipe sheets, anything.
I'm not a huge fan of the cover; I would have liked the book even better with less ornate stuff on the cover. But it's the kind of thing one can excuse, given the high quality of the overall product. It's much more useful than competing products, as far as I can tell.
Book Review: Good Summary: 4 Stars
This book is great and very versatile. I bought it as a gift for my sisters bridal shower. It has its own recipe cards which I mailed to everyone coming for them to write their own recipes on. Some other people had hand written old recipes that they wanted to give her which I could fit into pockets in this book. I agree it is a bit annoying that there is so much about the authors family in there and it isn't very trendy but overall I was pretty pleased with this.
Book Review: Not the Definitive but Good Summary: 4 Stars
Like most everything about it, including the fact you can order refill pages if needed, however loading my own collection of recipes I noticed there were a few categories I would have included that don't have tabs here, so I would have added tabs for CHILI, PASTA, SAUCES and STEW. Or even an all-purpose CROCK-POT. So it's a lovely set, but definitely not a perfect one; the definitive recipe collection method is probably still out there somewhere.
Book Review: beautiful Summary: 4 Stars
This is a lovely recipe holder. As others have said, there aren't enough pages, but I plan to scan the blank ones and add them, so it isn't really a problem. The three ring binder set up makes it easy to add additional pages and page sleeves. It is just what I was looking for to make a family recipe binder for my son and his fiancee.
