Book Review: Better than the 1st book but has it's disappointing moments.

I'm not gonna do a summary becaue other reviewers hve already done a good job with that. I just wanted to say,
PARENTS BE FOREWARNED:
There is a scene in the book where a fairy dies by drowning. She's not a main character in the book and the incident is brushed off in like 2 sentences but to a little girl or boy it might be quite jarring. If you are planning to read this book to your child you might want to watch out for it and skip those sentences. (Or not. If I had a kid I probably wouldn't censor the book and just be like 'Well the fairy died because Tink, Ri, Rani and Vidia were selfish.' or something like that.)
Another qualm I had was the love-triangle between Tink, Terrance and Peter Pan. As far as I know, Disney fairies can't reproduce since they are born fully grown from baby laughs. And I felt it completely unnecessary to include themes like jealousy, romance and unrequited love in a book aimed at 5 year olds. Please! Let these girls enjoy being children!!!! Do they really need to read about romance this early on in life??
Besides the two points above, this was a pretty good book. I like it better than the one about the egg.
Summary of Fairy Haven and the Quest for the Wand
"Beware a mermaid's wrath!"The mermaid Soop has sent a flood to Fairy Haven! Water-talent fairy Rani must bring Soop a wand or the Home Tree and all the Never fairies will be swept away. But wise Mother Dove isn't sure which is worse, a wand or a flood. Wand wishes, tantalizing wand wishes, are risky. The most innocent wish can cause untold trouble.
