Book Reviews of Extreme Fat Smash DietBook Review: Great learning tool! Summary: 5 Stars
A close friend and I have always been weight challenged and have tried, together, over the years to lose weight via the buddy system with sharing tips/ideas to lose weight....well she came by for a visit last winter and said she had heard about the Extreme Fat Smash Diet and was going to try it. I was skeptical because we have never been ones to try "extreme" methods but as I kept up with her I noticed pounds flying off her and I jumped on for the ride. I ordered the book, read it thoroughly a couple of times to make sure I understood the many wonderful points he discusses about healthy eating. He stress pushing yourself to achieve your goal...but all through healthy portion controlled eating. So Frances, here's to you my fried, thanks for the tip. Yes, we have both lost over 20 pounds and still going strong.
As a matter of fact, Fran has such faith she has gotten several of her friends and family to try it and all are succeeding, I have also gifted a book to another close friend of mine who was amazed with my results with weight loss. I truly appreciate what Dr. Smith has done and will be a fan forever.
Book Review: Best diet I have ever used!!! Summary: 5 Stars
This is a fantastic diet that yields great results. I love how simple it is to read and use. It is so user friendly. I last used "The You Diet" by Dr.Oz (as seen on Oprah). Also a great book, same premise really, except that Dr. Oz uses a lot of medical jargon that you can get lost in. This book is for those who are truly committed. You must be willing to sacrifice something, mainly that demon food, and laziness to excercise. I would recomend trying brown rice and weaning yourself off of white rice before you begin though, because for me that was the toughest transition. Also, one of the most filling snack options is 2 c. popcorn. It says to use airpopped popcorn, and that you can have 1 tsp. of salt per day. I found that I can have all the flavor I love by spraying my popcorn with butter flavored cooking spray and sprinking with salt. The spray adds no fat or calories and taste soo good even my skinny "no diet for me" husband loved it! I highly recommend this book to anyone who is finally ready to be done with those extra pounds, ready to be healthier, and ready to have more energy!
Book Review: It Really Works!!! Summary: 5 Stars
Okay, so I've been trying to lose these "last 10-15 pounds" for years, after having 3 children. I've tried all kinds of diets and have exercised and exercised, sometimes 3 times a day, to no avail. I would lose one or two pounds, but it would take weeks or even months and I'd get frustrated and fall off the wagon.
So, last week I stumbled upon this book and thought I'd give it a shot because I am a big fan of Celebrity Fit Club and love the results that most of them get. I decided to start the diet on Saturday and today is Tuesday, and I am down 4 pounds!!!! This book is no joke! It's not really a diet, but a tool for changing your eating habits, which obviously, mine needed changed. I was a firm believer in the 3 meals a day rule and that's why I wasn't losing the weight. This book gives you your menu, you just make up your schedule (there is a sample provided) and make sure you do the required exercise time. I am finally on the right track and am very satisfied with this purchase. I highly recommend this book!
Book Review: 60 pounds over weight! It worked for ME! Summary: 5 Stars
I will admit I was very skeptical about another diet plan. I have tried so many. I was a bit discourage because it is extremely hard for me to lose weight. I tried everything, I cut back on fattening foods, I exercised but nothing seemed to work. After getting the back, I was a bit discouraged because I was a Y, yes the loset ranking of the three but I endeavored with the program any way. To my SURPRISE I lost 4 pounds the first week. This was enough to keep me going. I followed the guidelines in the book to the T. I will admit, I did walk more than what I had too but that's because I have a dog. Any way, by the end of the third cycle I did lose 12 pounds. I was so excited, I took two days off ate whatever I wanted than went back and repeated the cycles. I am currently going into my second cycle two. I have lost an additional 6 pounds. Boy am I feeling GREAT! If you are over weight by a large amount like I was and you have a hard time losing weight, don't be afraid to try it. It really works.
Book Review: To the Extreme!!! Summary: 5 Stars
My sister and I did the original fat smash diet and at first I wasn't sure that it was going to work. When we finished that program, I lost over 30lbs. I still want to lose an additional 20lbs and after reading through this book, I see it happening. I met Dr. Ian Smith in person in Baltimore and he signed the "extreme fat smash" for me. He held a free meeting for over 3 hrs and expressed his concern for individuals who are not healthy. He is more concerned with health than six pack abs. This diet is not truly a diet but rather a life change. To be quite honest with you, anyone who has their mind made up to lose weight, will lose weight. Find what motivates you and go for it. This just so happened to be the book for me. No matter what pill, book, or machine you buy, it has to begin with you. I lost the weight when I made up my mind and followed the instructions of the book without taking any pills, just hard work. Don't go for gimmicks, Smash the fat.
