There's nothing particularly wrong with the book - it's pretty much just a list of the FCC questions and their answers. For what it is, it's fine, and it can be useful if you're somewhere and have some free time to study and are nowhere near a PC. But, since most of us ARE near PCs most of the time and, I assume, since you're reading Amazon, are computer literate, the bigger problem is that, well, this is a dead tree book where software is much better suited for this sort of study, especially as the author here provides very little to supplement the FCC questions. To wit, some guy here praised the book stating that he prepared for a few hours per night and was ready in SIX WEEKS. To be honest, I passed my extra test after about a week of study using a software based tool that I found off the web.
The book would be slightly redeemable if it had more content. As it doesn't, it's basically a static reprint of the FCC question banks that are out there. If you really want to study using a dead tree, then by all means, this is good enough. I think most of us have moved on from this approach though.
