Book Reviews of Exploring the World of Lucid DreamingBook Review: This book can potentially change your life if you are motivated Summary: 5 Stars
This is the definitive book on teaching yourself how to lucid dreaming... hands down. Very informative book on the nature of sleep and dreaming.
After reading the first chapter and letting your imagination flow, you'll get so pumped to start seriously practicing LaBerge's exercises and techniques.
Unfortunately, learning how to lucid dream is demanding for most. It takes hard work and motivation, you really need the urge to learn.
After approximately 2 weeks of solid effort I had my first true lucid dream, not only that but it lasted around 3-4 minutes which is actually really long for a beginner. It was an indescribable experience I'll never forget.. I woke up from that nap completely overwhelmed by excitement of what I had just done.

Book Review: Thanks to this book, I had my first lucid dream a few weeks back Summary: 5 Stars
The first time was AMAZING! It was flying and I knew it. It was fall and yellow leaves were falling everywhere. I saw everything with perfect clarity...more than perfect. It's like HD TV but in real life. Colors were more vivid than I've ever seen in my waking moments. The feeling of freedom was incredible. I woke up, remember it, and had such a moment of WOW!
Actually I just had my 2nd lucid dream last night. This 2nd time wasn't as powerful as the first, but amazing nevertheless. I had to go work today so I didn't get the amount of sleep necessary to get a clear lucid dream. Everything was blurred and fuzzy this time round and I kept worrying about waking up...sigh...which I did a few moments later.
Book Review: Excellent dreamer's guide Summary: 5 Stars
This book was recommended to me by my psychology professor, and this is a great compilation of the best new research in lucid dreaming techniques. Though I've tried to research this topic online, good advice is sparse and hard to find. This book brings it all together. It contains a variety of methods and advice to fit the sleeping and dreaming habits of every individual, and sorting through them can be tedious, but i strongly suggest that you spend the time and through trial-and-error, this book will guide you through the process to having more and better lucid dreams. Good luck and enjoy!
Book Review: Best guide to lucid dreaming Summary: 5 Stars
LaBerge is a psychologist at Stanford University, currently working on lucid dream research at The Lucidity Institute in Palo Alto, California. These books detail his discoveries on the waking dream and the methods by which one can experience such dreams. Lucid dreams are very fascinating and are an amazingly creative and fun way of exploring inner reality. The books have a pretty scientific bent and should be seen more as textbooks rather than descriptive or imaginative introductions to the lucid dream world. Of his two books, I think this one is a far more practical guide.
Book Review: Lucid Dreaming Summary: 5 Stars
This is a fabulous book for anyone who has ever suffered Sleep Paralysis, or visitations from (seemingly) other worldly demons during sleep - or for those who have enjoyed the wonders of gaining consciousness while in the dreamstate.
It explains all of these phenonema in very simple and logical terms.
It also explains how you can develop and enhance your ability to regain consciousness during dreaming - and thereby opens a whole new world of incredible experiences.
Fans of Carlos Castenada will love it.
