Book Review: Another Winner for Giada

I have all three of Giada's books, and I must say that she never fails to deliver. This particular book is oraganized so well, that all I have to do is go to a section for what I am looking for that evening. Not only does she provide great new recipes, she also has the best organized modern cookbook I have ever seen. I also like the fact that she has various levels of dishes. Her first book had recipes that were too "basic" in flavor for my tastes. Here, she adds bold recipes like her beef short ribs. In addition, hands down, Giada makes the best baked pastas, but she also has new makeovers for old dishes that brings pasta to the present, with a hint of nostalgia. Everytime I cook a dish from her cookbooks, I get a big smile from my husband, who looks forward to our evening dinners.Book Review: I'm in love with Giada!

I originally saw this book by chance at the library, checked it out, and made her penne with roasted vegetables for a Christmas open house. WHAT a hit! So I started looking through and decided I HAD to own my own copy, even though I am under self-imposed cookbook probation. I've made several more of her dishes, and find that A) while a lot of prep work is requied, none are so "ornate" that I can't throw them together on weekday evenings, and B) I am eating much more healthily and eating a lot more vergetables than I usually do. I highly recommend her book!Book Review: Pasta Pleaser

What I like about this book is that the recipes are not too complicated to be done by a working person who might have little time to spend in the kitchen. If you are looking for cooking that will be loved by everyone in your family from grandpa down to your niece or nephew who is visiting and who are picky eaters, then this cookbook should do the trick. The photos are beautiful and the recipes are yummy.

Giada De Laurentiis brings the best of the best in home cooking for Pasta lovers. Her beautiful book EVERYDAY PASTA has excellent recipes that make a meal worth eating and they are simple to follow!
I was raised on this food from one half of my heritage, and just looking at the ingredients I remember the smell coming from Mom's kitchen.
If you love pasta get this book! It is packed with recipes that make cooking a breeze and eating a delight!

This is the perfect book for impressing your dinner guests without having to graduate from culinary school, haha. I've already made a few of the dishes and they've turned out very well and tasted incredible. Further, Giada has a great sense of presentation. The photos of the dishes add a perfect appetizing accent. There are also some of her having fun while preparing the dishes. I highly recommend this book for anyone who enjoys cooking great tasting, Italian dishes.
