I am 37, new to cooking and have little time. I was looking for something easy to follow with good classic Italian recipes. The first recipe I tried was the pork with fig sauce, next the chicken parm...anyway, each came out a success and I didn't need to spend a ton of time working on them. The sauces are good and she shows you many ways to simplify recipes. I've never seen her show, but I would definitely recommend this cookbook to anyone interested in simple, tasty approaches to Italian cooking.
