Book Reviews of Even Firefighters Hug Their MomsBook Review: Loved It Summary: 5 Stars
My grandson was two when I bought this book for him and after a year, it is still one of his favorites. Initially I thought it was just about pretending to be a fireman but it is about pretending to be everything from policeman to a garbage truck driver. And when you are three, what could be better than a garbage truck driver?
It shows the interaction with the mom but also depicts playing with your sibling. The art work is very well done and shows the everyday items that can come to life with the imagination of a child.
Book Review: IMAGINITIVE PLAY AT WORK Summary: 5 Stars
I'LL GIVE THIS BOOK TO A KINDERGARTEN BOY, BUT I THINK HE WILL LIKE IT FOR A LONG TIME. THE VOCABULARY WILL BE A CHALLENGE, BUT HE WILL GROW INTO IT. I KNOW HE WILL LOVE RO HAVE HIS MOTHER AND GRANDMOTHER READ THIS TO HIM FOR YEARS TO COME. FIREFIGHTERS ARE NOT THE ONLY OCCUPATION INCLUDED. THE JOBS RUN THE GAMUT. THE COLORFUL ILLUSTRATIONS BEAUTIFULLY PORTRAY IMAGINITIVE PLAY AT WORK. 'LITTLE SISTER' IS INVOLVED IN EACH WORK EPISODE, TOO. IT IS A LOT OF FUN TO SEE EVERY DAY OBJECTS USED IN SUCH CREATIVE WAYS!!
Book Review: Even teachers hug their moms! Summary: 5 Stars
Mom's of children everywhere are sure to fall in love with this book! The young boy and his even younger sister pretend to have many jobs including firefighter, police officer, EMT and several more. Like most kids, these two get wrapped up in their world of imagination and the boy doesn't seem to have time to hug his mom. However, he does break through! I had to show this to my boyfriends mom since my boyfriend is an EMT and firefighter. She LOVED it!
Book Review: So cute!! Summary: 5 Stars
We ordered this book for my son for his 4th birthday. He loves it, and so does his 5 year old brother! They ask to read it all the time and already have it memorized. It is adorable and fun to read, not one of those books I want to hide because it is so cheesy! Cute, cute, cute a book every little boy should have!
Book Review: My son's first Library Book Summary: 5 Stars
This was the first book my 3 yr old ever checked out form the Library. His daddy is a firefighter and he loves anything that has to do with firefighters. After we read the book I fell in love with this story and had to find it. Now we have our own copy to keep as a remembrance of his first Library book.
