Though it doesn't say it in the description, this book is not intended for beginners to the Italian language. It DOES say that once you get the book.
For what it does, and the price, the book is good. But I would suggest you go through the Pimsleur or Rosetta Stone series before going through this, or you might find yourself rather confused. Good luck!
