Although this book is not for someone who is serious about learning massage techniques (I recommend getting Stewart Mitchell's The Complete Illustrated Guide to Massage) it's very good at making massage less intimidating and more intimate. There are actually some very good suggestions in the book and isn't a waste of money or time. But if you want more information on technique you'll need to get other books, as suggested above.Book Review: Where's the beef?

This book is written in freefrom poetry verse ala eecummings style. The pictures are useful, but on the whole they explain things that most people who like to be touched, and touch would understand by intuition. The book might be good for the akward someone who really does not understand how to touch another person, but those same sorts of people are ging to be very put off and confussed by the BAD poetry.
