Book Reviews of EnigmaBook Review: Excellent Summary: 5 Stars
Great book. The haunting atmosphere reminds me of the true master of British suspense, John Le Carre. And this is high praise, indeed.
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy
Book Review: Brilliant Englishman who finally comes of age. Summary: 5 Stars
Wonderful story. Great history lesson. The image I carry away is of Churchill standing on a rooftop knowing where the German bombs are to fall and not being able to say a word to protect the Enigma secret. A well written extremely good read.
Book Review: Excellent thriller Summary: 5 Stars
Captures the gritty atmosphere of Bletchley most
authentically. One feels his characters are human
and real. Wavers a bit towards the end but a most
worthwile read if cryptography and the work of the
wartime codebreakers interests you.
Book Review: The BEST book ever! Summary: 5 Stars
I REEAALLY loved this book, given to me by a friend! It's really exiting, and keeps the reader's attention right until the end. The characters are very real, and the book is colourfully written. A definate must for any bookshelf, 10/10!
Book Review: A joy to read. Summary: 5 Stars
The subject of WWII and the Nazi war secrets are enough to interest me. But when Robert Harris puts pen to paper his command of the English language sings sweet songs in my head. Too bad all writers don't have his fantastic skill.
