Book Review: Excellent book!
Summary: 5 Stars
This is an wonderful book, it is a serious read, but it is quite worth it. The real cost of freedom, what does it mean to you, Matthew Bracken knows and he does an excellent job in unfolding it in story form, a pleasure to read. I was not one bit disappointed with a single word written within these pages, it is a shame that this book is virtually non existant in Canada! Thank goodness for Amazon on that one! Looking forward to reading his next book Recognista!Book Review: Chilling look at a possible future for our country!

Matthew Bracken seems to be almost prescient in his writing of this first novel! At one point I actually turned back to the front of the book to check the publication date as I felt like it was talking about current events (2010) as I was reading it. It is a chilling book for those with courage enough to read it. That said, there are plenty of ideas contained in on how to protect yourself and those you love.
A "must read" for a conservative patriot (imho).

This book is the most amazing book I've read in years! It is well written and one you cannot put down! Regardless of your view on guns, it's a "must read" for everyone, especially those who care about our country. Women will love the strong Ranya character that Bracken created and while I know this book is fiction, it leaves you with an eerie feeling that this could happen today! Matthew Bracken is a fantastic author and I will purchase everything he writes!Book Review: Fiction... for now?

I gave this book high marks because Matt has shown the possible consequences of allowing the 2nd ammendment to be chipped away by those sworn to defend our freedoms. By using a real world cast of characters and setting them on a one way rollercoaster, non-stop to their destiny, I felt like I was there too, sharing their burdens and praying that this fiction never becomes reality.
I'll be looking forward to matt's next offering.
Book Review: Rivetting prose, fun story

I found the book is impossible to put down. From the first paragraph to the last shot fired, no character is sacred in this thought provoking tale of freedoms infringed and freedoms dinied. Believable characters and situations weave their way in and out of the story illustrating just how easily our constitutional rights could be eroded, and stripped away. Great potential for Action Movie.
