Book Reviews of Ender's Shadow (Ender, Book 5)Book Review: Bean rules Summary: 4 Stars
Although this book is certainly not Ender's Game, it is a terrific read nonetheless. For me personally, as someone who read ender's game more than a decade ago, Ender's Shadow was particularly fun to read because i got to relive the original story and it felt new at the same time. As a side note, i've yet to read a story from this series that disappointed me.
Book Review: Bean Rocks! Summary: 4 Stars
If you just finished reading Ender's Game, go to this one next as was recommended to me. This is the story of Bean, smallest member of Dragon army. The tale takes place during the same events as Ender's Game but from Bean's perspective. Loved it. Would have given in 5 stars but it took a little bit to get going. Enjoy!
Book Review: Good job re-writing the same book twice!!! Summary: 4 Stars
How Bean got to the streets is a little unbelievable but I found the story with Poke and Achilles very interesting. After that, Card does a wonderful job re-telling the same story without re-telling the same story. It was fun to read eventhough I already knew the outcome.
Book Review: Better than "Ender's Game." Summary: 4 Stars
I didn't fall in love with "Ender's Game" like everyone else, but I decided to give this book a chance. Even though it takes place during the same time period and place, I found it worth reading. It stays more on point than the other book and was just easier to read.
Book Review: Excellent companion to Ender's Game Summary: 4 Stars
Read it in 3 days. Though it's possible it can stand on it's own, it's much better, I'm betting, to read it after Ender's Game.
Excellent book, definitely recommended.
