Book Reviews of Ender's Shadow (Ender, Book 5)Book Review: Got me hooked Summary: 5 Stars
I think I'm one of the few reviewers who had not read _Ender's Game_ before reading this. But after reading, I went back and read about 5 other books in the Ender's series. Still, I think this is the best, and most interesting. Characters well drawn out. Good tension between main characters. Interesting imagination of what life on the streets was like while most of the Ender's series is about life in space.
Book Review: That bean is a character Summary: 5 Stars
Out of all the books in the series, this one was especially awesome. I'm surprised by some of the weak unfavorable reviews for this book. I found it to be throughly awesome. Bean's childhood was insane. Card stayed true to the original story and basically retold it from a completely different angle. A lot of good stuff for the movie in this book too...if the movie ever happens.
Book Review: I have one gripe Summary: 5 Stars
Pretty much everything about this book is fantastic, I only have one problem, Card changed his view of Bean. There is no doubt in my mind that from Ender's game to this, Card completely revamped Bean. You see this in the areas that the books overlap as Card tries to explain what Bean was really thinking or doing, and I just knew that he was full of it.
Book Review: Incredible characters Summary: 5 Stars
There are very few writers who are able to really introduce you to the characters. So many book are written as stories where we watch what is going on, similar to a movie. Card takes us into the characters helping us to see as they see, think as they think. For me this happened as I got to know Bean and it changed the way i saw the world.
Book Review: fantastic book! Summary: 5 Stars
Ender's Shadow lives up to Card's highest standards. It's thoughtful, interesting, and you become completely involved with Bean. A must read for Card fans and science fiction fans in general.
