I've read all of Neil's books except the M.Manson one. I really like this. It was a gift from my Dad. I picked it up Friday night and had finished it by Sunday morning.
It's that type of book. I loved the survival stuff in there. This book did make me laugh and it did make me cry. The ending is fantastic. Just the journey Neil went on with this book is just amazing.
It won't change my life like The Game did. Yet it's such a great book and a new direction for Neil's writing.

I wager that very few people would really survive if suddenly remove all the comforts we have today. We have been conditioned by the development of our society to live in a certain way, that is not wrong, but what would happen in an emergency situation? This is an amaizing description of what you can do to get ready, to be prepered. Neil is constantly looking to improve. And if you do at least half of these things you will be much better prepared to face any situation, any emergency.Book Review: Amazing

Top three books of all time.
Guys... you will love this book. It will make you think AND feel like you could be James Bond, Rambo, and maybe even Batman!
Humor and gritty detail on how he discovered and (sometimes) mastered manly skills like Knives, Guns, and Lockpicking. He kills a goat. He learns how to live in other countries. He goes from Wimp to Mans Man and shows you how and why he did it. You will not be disappointed!

This book is fantastic. Like his book The Game, Neil learns skills first hand by training with the experts and reading all the books. Then he passes the info to us, in a page-turner that I can't put down. I'm laughing, learning, and getting pumped. Whether there's a societal breakdown or not, Neil's coaches advise to not be nervous, just be prepared. OK - enough writing - I'm getting back to the book.
