Book Review: A wonderful book! CD included! Great price!
Summary: 5 Stars
My son (18 months old) loves this book and I have been reading it to him since he was one. He loves that the CD and the book relate (the wording is the same... they read the first page of the book on the CD) He dances even while I'm reading the book. Ella scats all kinds of instruments and he bounces around as I read her "scats" from the book. He enjoys listening to the CD without the book as well.
I love the illustrations too, as does my son. He points to different things on the page and has begun to recognize some of the pictures too.
The book holds up quite nicely to a toddler's wear and tear! It still looks new and we've had it for over 6 months and have toted it around to several restaurants, friends houses and the like. The cool thing is the book has a built in handle so he can carry it around the house easily, or into the car.
We have one other book in this series (Baby Loves Jazz) and my son likes that one just as well. But for now, this one is his preferred. He loves the scat words. It's so fun!
