Book Review: Good and Easy learn to draw book

My son just turned seven and really enjoys this book. He does enjoy How to Draw books in general, but he really liked this one a lot. The images are fun and Emberley breaks them down into very simple steps. This is an important concept for a child to grasp. My daughters loved Ed Emberley drawing books when they were younger. Now one is going to be a mother and requested this particular book for Christmas. She wants to decorate the nursery with Ed Emberley drawings. My other daughter still has one of his books and shared it with her sister--one condition--"I get it back".Book Review: My 7 year old daughter loves this book

My 7 year old daughter had used a similar book by the same author at her school for Halloween. She asked if we could get another one of Ed Emberley's books and we picked the animals book. She was able to draw really great pictures of animals very easily, on her own. I highly recommend.Book Review: A Classic for the Child in everyone of us

I just rediscovered this gem of a book. Such a classic. Hadn't seen it since I was 8 or so, but what a wonderfully simple, perfect book. Ed Emberley seems to think there is an artist in every one of us. I think he is right. Every child should have this book in their early library.Book Review: Great for my 4 year-old

Just bought this drawing book for my 4-year old daughter for Christmas and she loves it. She follows the step-by-step directions and does pretty good for a pre-schooler. She's been wanting to draw her own animals and this book has really empowered her.
