Book Reviews of Ed Emberley's Drawing Book of AnimalsBook Review: Amazing drawing book Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this for my 7 year old nephew but I've had just as much fun with it. There's a wide variety of animals and creatures in the book with patient, step-by-step how-to-draw illustrations for each. There are easy bugs and birds and then more difficult dragons so there's room to practice and grow. Children love how-to-draw books and this is one of the best I've seen. Highly recommended for a lot of creative fun!
Book Review: Simple and self-explanatory Summary: 5 Stars
This is the 1st book that I bought from Ed Emberley's series. My pencil drawing skills are rather poor but I was able to catch-up with all the drawings from book without hassle. Drawing steps are clearly presented and easy to follow. My kids are enjoying as well. Simple, fun and veeery addictive. I'm gonna buy more books from E. E. series for sure. Highly recommended!
Book Review: Highly recommended Summary: 5 Stars
I was not familiar with this book before I bought it; however, it was recommended by the teachers of the students for which this and several other Ed Emberley books were purchased. From the thank yous I have received, this book was a real hit! It is used in a Native American Mission School with great enthusiasm and even better results. What more could you ask for?
Book Review: Blast fom my past that my kids love, too! Summary: 5 Stars
I had this book as a kid and loved it - no written instructions, just step by step pictures that are easy to follow. My 11-yr old and 7-yr old both like it. The final pictures are full of character and are really fun. This may not be a book for a kid who's really serious about drawing, but it's great fun for the average artist, adults included.
Book Review: Just as I remember it... Summary: 5 Stars
I had this when I was growing up and wanted to share it with my toddler. It is great because although he is too young to draw these things, he recognizes them in the book (and when I draw them) and we can make up our own stories together. When he gets a better handle on drawing for himself, the book will grow into that role. Yay!
