Book Review: Not for Quick Lentils

This review is only about the lentil recipes, which may or may not be your interest. When I bought Easy Beans, I was looking for varied ideas on cooking lentils, since they're healthy & quick: 20 minutes cooking. Easy Beans agrees in the overview on page 16, and then all but one of the lentil recipes take over 50 minutes. (Some bean recipes are faster, when they use canned beans.) Particularly disappointing when the subtitle promises "Fast...recipes." An alternative, Bean, Pea and Lentil Cookbook, is little better: most lentil recipes there take over 35 minutes.
