Book Reviews of Eagle Strike (Alex Rider Adventure)

Book Review: best in the 5 Stars

I've read all of the Alex Rider books and i think Eagle Strike is the best. This book starts out where Alex is with Sabina on vacation in France. but then, he sees Yassen gregorovitch and 2 other men on a boat, and sees he cant go on with the vacation after Sabina's house house blows up. the policeman say it was a leak, but Alex Knows that Yassen was behind it all. alex gets really mad, and goes to the boat that he saw Yassen on. and when he's in there, he sees Yassen has Sir Damien Cray's privet phone # on it. he also sees a gun there, so he grabs the gun and goes to where Yassen is sleeping and almost pulls the trigger, but one of his men catches him. they deside what to do with him, and the desicion was make him go as a bullfighter. its either that or they shoot him. so alex goes to the bullfighting arena with Yassen's men pointing a pistol at him the whole time to make sure he doesn't leave. but of course alex finds a way out of it. he flies back to london and tries to persued them that he saw Sir Damien Cray's privet # on yassen's phone, and that they're up to no good, but they dont belive him. so alex desides to go alone.
Damien cray is launching a new Video game called the GAMESLAYER thats supposed to be the world's greatest new VG system. and he's laaunching it at hyde park. Alex goes there andDamien Cray asks if there is any teens there and someone pches him up face-to-face with DC. He maks alex trie the gameslayer and alex is pretty good, until DC Squezzed his arm and made him lose. you're gonna have to read it to figure out wahat happens next!!!!

Book Review: Eagle Strike [an Alex Rider adventure] by Anthony Horowitiz
Summary: 5 Stars

The title of my book is called Eagle Strike. It is in the fiction genre. It is in Europe in the present day. The author is Anthony Horowitz. the main character in the book is Alex Rider, a fourteen year old boy who works for british intelligence M16. Alex is on vacation in France with his friend Sabina when he sees a long time enemy : Yassen Gregorvich. Alex follows Yassen to his yacht and finds millionare Dimian Cray"s number on Yassen"s phone but gets caught by Yassen and ends up in a bull fight. Alex escapes and tells british agency M16 about Cray and Yassen , but they won"t believe him. It"s up to Alex to find out what Yassen and Cray are up to. Alex is a kid who is curious and likes to find out things.
My favorite scene is when Alex sneaks his way into a park where a game slayer preview is being shown. Alex plays the game slayer "feathered serpent" but Cray makes him get a game over seconds before he beat the level. Alex is mad at Cray now and he still has no clue what Cray is up to. I liked this scene because it was exciting and fun to read.
I liked reading Eagle Strike because it is a fun and involving story. In the book I learned that famous people aren't always nice and are "goodguys". This book is so good I can't think of any improvements. This book was just right for my reading level. this was a suspenseful book and easy to remember. this book would be in my favorites because it was a enjoyable book. If I think about this book in the future I will remember the video game and plane scenes.

Book Review: Eagle Strike
Summary: 5 Stars

Would Alex Rider ever work independent and not with MI6?
Well, actually yes he would! In the book Eagle strike by Anthony Horwitz, Alex Rider, MI6 secret agent, feels confident enough to work by himself with out MI6. But everything goes wrong and Alex is caught by, multimillionaire, Damian Cray in his own compound and he is put into a real life copy of one of Cray's videogames. Barely escaping his own death in the real life game, he is able to steal a chip that Cray needs to set off 25 missiles aimed all over the world. But Alex notices that his best friend, Sabrina, has disappeared. He suspects that the kidnapper is Cray.
Personally I think the Eagle Strike was an amazing book and I never wanted to put it down. It seems like every chapter has it own rising action, climax and resolution. So its like there are little missions that lead to, or relate to one big mission that the book is based on. But before reading Eagle Strike I would read Storm Breaker then Point Blank then Skeleton Key to get a better understanding of the characters. For this book, I would recommend the reader to be around 14 years old and a reader of fiction. I believe this book is best suited for a fourteen year old because the main character is fourteen and he thinks like every other fourteen year old would.
Will Alex be able to save Sabrina and still be able to stop Cray?

Book Review: A Review for a Very Good Book
Summary: 5 Stars

"Eagle Strike" is an amazing book. I have read it many times and every time it is just as intense as the time before. The book is very well-written, with graphic descriptions and intense sequences where you don't know what is going to happen next.
Alex Rider's resourcefulness is amazing and definitely very handy in tight spots, such as the time when he took wire and half a spear and tied it to look like he was impaled in order to trick the guards who were trying to kill him. I wouldn't have thought of that.
Another interesting aspect of the book is the villian. Damian Cray is a man who has good motives but bad ways of accomplishing them. He thinks that the ends justify the means, (spoiler alert) but using America's nuclear weapons to blow up all drugs isn't a very nice idea.
This book puts a new perspective on the life of a spy. To Alex, the people at MI6 are cold, manipulative people who will do anything to get their way, and they just want to use Alex to accomplish their dangerous missions. Also, any person in the organization is portrayed like other adults in the series and won't believe kids when they tell them that an extremely famous and influential person is an insane killer.
"Eagle Strike" and all the other books in the Alex Rider series are very well written, and I can't wait for the newest book to come out.

Book Review: Eagle Strike
Summary: 5 Stars

What would you do if your life changed in just one day? Well Alex Rider's did. Alex Rider is a fourteen year old boy who was forced to work for MI6 (the British Intelligence Agency) and go on many spy missions. He is the main character in the book Eagle Strike. The book Eagle Strike is the fourth in the Alex Rider Series. This book is loaded with spectacular detail. The words were tremendous. Right when I started reading this book it felt like my eyes were glued to the page and if I pulled away my eyes would be ripped out.

In this book Alex goes on a mission were the bad guy is a psychotic and insanely rich pop star! The pop stars name is Damian Cray and he just happens to be working with a contract killer and Alex's worst enemy, Yassan Gregorovitch. Alex soon finds out what Damian Cray is aiming to do and it involves nuclear activity. This book is very good but it makes more sense if you've read the other books. These books are Stormbreaker, Point Blank, Skeleton Key, Eagle Strike, Scorpia, and Ark Angel.

During this book I wondered why Damian Cray was against drugs so much. I also wondered why MI6 wouldn't help Alex. Anthony Horowitz's Alex Rider Series is a violent and action packed series, so I would recommend it to fourth graders and up. If you like James Bond you will probably like this.
