Book Reviews of Dr. Nicholas Romanov's Pose Method of Running (Dr. Romanov's Sport Education)Book Review: Pose Summary: 4 Stars
This is a great book on running, whether you are a beginner or a veteran like myself. If you love running and hate injuries, you need to read this book, but not only read it, follow the trianing techniques and excercises, you will be amazed by the results!
Book Review: wonderful book. Summary: 4 Stars
This is a great book, I have found it very useful. It is not to be taken lightly it won't show you tricks or shortcuts or teach you running mantras, it is meant to completely change the way you run, for the better. Good luck.
Book Review: Awesome drills to develop technique and conditioning Summary: 4 Stars
Very applied. Very helpful in developing technique. Also very helpful in developing the strength and conditioning necessary for POSE running.
Book Review: Pose Tech works, the book could be much shorter and better Summary: 2 Stars
I am a 36 years old recreational runner/marathoner. I found out about Pose method by accident browsing the net some time ago. I stumbled upon Mr. Romanov's website, and was quite impressed by the promise of injury free running.
After buying/reading the book I have to say, that it is poorly written, full of typos, and the first 100 pages or so are there only to sell the Pose method, which is beyond the point really, as I already bought an expensive paperback. I guess it could be condensed into 20 pages max.
Having said that, the book made me think, and the method works. Yes, there is a real increase in speed and cadence without much perceived effort, however there must be strength training and stretching that goes with it should I want to switch 100% to pose method.
To sum it up - it should be a very expensive brochure rather than a book full of filler material. Thats a letdown. BUT IT WORKS. I would recommend this book to a friend.

Book Review: Nothing New Here Summary: 2 Stars
I purchased this book after reading previous reviews of a new and cutting edge running style. After reading this, I am very disappointed. There is nothing new here. The running techniques used in this book are the same ones that have been taught and used by top runners for many years. Landing with your foot under your center of gravity, avoiding heel first footstrike, soft knees, high heel kick, fast turnover with short footplant time, avoiding braking action, running smoothly with little vertical motion are all running form pointers that are taught by any good coach. This is a very high price for a book that has very little new information.
