Book Reviews of Dr. Nicholas Romanov's Pose Method Strength Conditioning Hamstring and Hips ExercisesBook Review: Great Addition to POSE book (a lot of drills carry over) Summary: 5 Stars
You can tell with all POSE books & videos that this is not a high profit setup. It's more about the information than having super duper edited & illustrated material. Having said this, if you can do all the drills in this book you should be good for the next Olympics. Dr. R (for me -- 38 years old & about 10 lbs overweight) doesn't pull any punches & represents very advanced & difficult core & hamstring exercises. This is a great illustrated guide to all of the POSE exercises & again many that I find near impossible at my level of fitness point. Just cannot say enough good about the things Dr. R has put together for us runner seeking better times & less effort & pain.
Summary of Dr. Nicholas Romanov's Pose Method Strength Conditioning Hamstring and Hips ExercisesHamstring and hips strength conditioning exercises will help you develop a muscular corset around your body with a very sophisticated structure of muscles' interactions.
These exercises will become an indispensable tool for your proper strength-agility conditioning and learning the efficient POSE running technique.
The anatomical and biomechanical position of the hips affects the integrated movement of the whole body. As the bridge between the upper and lower body, the hips play a key role in integrating and coordinating all of the body's movements. The strength and stability of the hips provide the path for mechanical energy flow through the body during support and flight. Strong hips provide the foundation for the loads experienced by the lower extremities on support and reduce the impact on the lower back.
