Book Review: This book teaches children to put God first!
Summary: 5 Stars
As you read into this book with your child, it will help them realize that all they have to do is turn to God for help. This book is a great encouragement to all children as they grow in faith. My daughter enjoyed listening of how Thomas overcame his fears and of that " big, mean dog next door " that turned out to be just a tiny little dog. I would definitely recommend this book for any child and for anyone who wants to teach their children the importance of trusting and obeying God.
Summary of Doubting Thomas
It is very hot out, and the sun is shining brightly. We could get overheated and sunburned. The big, mean dog next door might chase us. Not only that, said Thomas, but the park can be pretty dangerous. Meet Doubting Thomas, a young boy whose fear keeps him indoors and away from fun. Although Thomas parents encourage him to be brave and adventurous, Thomas finds excuse after excuse to stay at home. Reluctantly agreeing to an afternoon at the park, Thomas watches from the safety of a park bench as his only friend, Jimmy, flies higher and higher on the swing set. When Jimmy takes a tumble, Thomas must find it in himself to face his fears and get some help. With Gods help, can Doubting Thomas overcome his fears and help his friend?
