Book Review: wonderful photography of dogs

Having a couple of other Rachel Hale books, I knew exactly what to expect. A beautiful book that I'd be proud to have sitting on my coffee table for guests to flip through. Also knowing Hale's photography, I did not expect photographs that would show the standard breed poses. I was right. This book is more of a photographic book rather than a breed book. Anyone expecting the latter will be disappointed as the photos are most definitely artsy. However, anyone looking for a book of photographs of beautiful dogs showing vulnerability, cuteness and just plain charm, will not be disappointed. Breeds include some of the standard common breeds as well as a few more unusual breeds such as the Briard, the Chinese Crested, etc.
If you like this book also check out 101 Salivations, another Hale masterpiece. I only wish I lived closer to Hale so that she could get some beautiful shots of my own dog, something which I fail miserably at!
