Book Reviews of Doctor Who: The Writer's TaleBook Review: Fantastic Summary: 5 Stars
A unique view into the mind of the man behind the BBC's recent revival of Doctor Who. Basically, email and sms correspondence between Doctor Who showrunner Russell T. Davies and magazine editor Benjamin Cook. We're privy to Russell's inner-most thoughts as he drafts scripts for the 2007 Doctor Who Christmas special and key episodes of the 2008 season of Doctor Who, as well as the search for his replacement as showrunner for the 2010 series. This tale is big, intimate, fascinating. And includes entire scripts of several episodes, which you can see evolve from first draft to final draft. For more of his scripts see the book's official website at http://www.thewriterstale.com
Book Review: Don't miss Summary: 5 Stars
This book is a wonderful read for any aspiring writer out there, anyone who has just wondered about the craft, or is a fan of Russell T. Davies and his shows. I love Doctor Who, and find it very interesting to get a better understanding of the genius who brought the show back to life. This book gives you a different view of the show and the writers than any other book I have read. Russell is very honest and upfront about his feelings and holds nothing back. Do not miss this wonderful book!
