Book Reviews of Digging for the Truth: One Man's Epic Adventure Exploring the World's Greatest Archaeological MysteriesBook Review: Wonderful book! Summary: 5 Stars
I haven't even finished reading this book yet but I can already rate is for 5 stars. First, because of the subject. Archeology, mistery, adventure, developing exotic places - hard to imagine something more exciting. Second, the way of describing the adventures - it's not writing about the movie which was on TV. It's kind of backup, scenes from the backstage, moments that are not seen in the film. And, what is important for me - Josh's emotions, commentaries, opinions which make this book more personal. So, in my opinion, film and book together make the perfect set. And the third thing, the language. English is the second language for me and reading book with dictionary in my hand "decreases the level of fun". For me reading this book is not translating sentences but just pleasure of traveling with the author.
