Book Review: A little boy's wish

My nephew lives in Montana and I live in California. When he told me he couldn't find a book (Diary of a Wimpy kid, Do-It-Yourself) in a series I told him I would look on Amazon. Of course you had copies and lots of them, new and used. So I got him a new, hardcover copy and he received it in perfect condition within the time span we were told. He loves his book and has probably read it several times by now. Thank you for having the book and making me look like the Auntie that can do anything!Book Review: Not a rip-off after all

My 9 year old loved the first two Diary of a Wimpy Kid books. On a recent trip to the bookstore, he chose the Do-It-Yourself Book as his book for the week. At first, I said no, because I thought it was a rip-off that more than half of the book is just lined pages! He convinced me in the end, and he has loved the book. Not as much as the first two, but he has spent many hours reading it and writing in it. I know we will keep this book and show it to his kids one day --- won't that be fun!Book Review: "This is a journal, not a diary."

Written as Greg Heffley's own "diary," this Do-It-Yourself book has many pages of things to do, fill in, draw, and finish for fans of the previous Diary of a Wimpy Kid books. The cartoons are funny, the questions aimed at middle schoolers; there is plenty of fun for kids. There are some color cartoons in the center of the book, collected from Greg, and his best friend Rowley. The last half of the book are blank pages to use as your own diary, or as Greg says "This is a journal, not a diary."Book Review: Same book as B&N minus the hefty price tag!

I bought all 4 books from the WImpy Kid series for my soon to be 8 yr old! He loves them. Already read one whole book. And I got them just in time for him to read over the summer. I looked everywhere for these books and this was the best price....and they are hard cover, which are way more durable for the younger readers!
Very cute cartoons, and it makes the little guys think they are reading huge chapter books, the point is to get them to read, and enjoy it. These books do just that.

WARNING!: Do not but his book thinking you're reading the 3rd book. This is a activity book. For those who are fans of activity books or are fans of the Wimpy Kid you should purchase this. It has lots of fun things to do such as predicting the future, saying your hobbies, and you can even write your own story in the back of the book! I've read the 1st 2 books and loved them and have just purchased the 3rd on Amazon. I rate this 5 stars because it's a time killer and is lots of fun.
