Book Reviews of Diary of a Wimpy Kid Do-It-Yourself BookBook Review: Fun creative book for kids loving Diary of a Whimpy Kid series Summary: 5 Stars
My boys (age 9) love the Diary of a Whimpy Kid book series and often read them in one day of receiving them. My kids also love to draw and make up imaginary characters and when I saw this "activity" book at Amazon's great price I had to buy two of them. The book is funny and the boys get a chance to create their own sayings, characters. and answer questions which is not only fun for them, but as a parent I love to see what they create and write. This is a nice change of pace to get them to read, be creative, and stay away from the video game system.
Book Review: Excellent follow up to a wonderful series Summary: 5 Stars
Once picked up my son only put each of these books down upon completion. He returned repeatedly to each, especially the Do-It-Yourself volume. Whole heartedly recommend it for boys that enjoy humorous books. As a side note, stay far away from a book store [...]. They'll slip a monthly "club" fee of $9.95 onto your bill that appears separately from your invoice. They're counting on you not reading the small print on the left margin before they suck you into a riduclous monthly auto-debit fee. I'll never stray from Amazon for purchases again.
Book Review: Son Loves this Series! Summary: 5 Stars
And while he begged for this one, I relucted to get it since "do-it-yourself" translated to empty journal for me. But I relented and bought it for him for X-mas when the price dropped because I knew he wanted it badly. And I'm not disappointed. I read through it and while it is a do-it-yourself, it isn't an empty journal. Sure there are blank pages with suggestions, but theres a lot more and it was definitly worth buying. For anyone who loves this series, this book is a must and definitly worth the price!
Book Review: Diary of a Wimpy Kid Do-It-Yourself Book Summary: 5 Stars
I know a 3rd grader who loves the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Book series. I wanted to surprise him with a new book but didn't know which books he'd read from the library. I looked online and found the Diary of a Wimpy Kid Do-It-Yourself Book. I really liked the book because not only did it encourage him to read but to also write! I ordered the book and gave it to his mother to give to him. The next time I saw him he thanked me for book, told me how cool it was, and said, "Now, I have my own Wimpy Kid Diary!"
Book Review: Awesome for all boys 4th grade-8th grade Summary: 5 Stars
First of all, you have to at least read the 1st book in the series, which is a hilarious story of a middle-school boy's life illustrated with his own comic drawings. It motivates boys to keep the same kind of diary! This book is a perfect way for boys to find their creative outlet and express their feelings. Of course, they would never actually call it a DIARY. But even if it only becomes a book of drawings and comics, what a treasure would that be to save. I suggest getting the hard-cover.
