This is one of the best zombie books ive ever read...its in journal format so its all "meat and potatoes"..anyone with some survival skills would be doing the exact same thing..the author is smart..good at description and you will not be able to put it down..i finished in 1 day..then my wife was "browsing" threw it and decided to read the whole thing also...this is a must for anyone thart has had any enjoyment with zombie movies in the past...ive given to 4 friends to read and all have said the same thing...WHEN IS PART 2 COMING OUT.....which the author states is almost finished...only bad thing i can comment on this book is the cliff hanger ending..thats it..a GREAT read and would make excellent movieBook Review: One of the best zombie books out there

Day by Day Armageddon is a great book. It is horrifically chilling and keeps you on edge throughout the whole book. There is action from start to finish. This book is a great start to the series. I myself can't wait for the next one to come out. This is a great read for someone just getting into zombie books, or anyone who has read zombie books before. If you have read Max Brook's "World War Z" then you'll love this book. It's scary to see how an epidemic contained in one country could literally "consume" the world. In this book you see how a survivor and his neighbor battle the hordes of living dead in order to stay alive. This is a great book and I'd recommend it to anyone.Book Review: Such an incredible read!!

This is one of the most (if not THE most) entertaining books I've read. I was hooked from the beginning and could not put it down. I swear to you all that there was not a single boring page in the entire book. It flowed excellently. You get to experience the horror first hand through the main characters perspective in this first person diary thriller. Violence, horror, fear, and a bit of comic relief at some points. Definitely a must read. This book definitely has my standards high for future zombie books that I read.
Right now I'm reading World War Z and sadly I'm not enjoying it nearly as much as I did this one. I will definitely be buying the sequel.

I bought J. L. Bourne's "Day by Day Armageddon" on a whim and frankly wasn't expecting much out of it. Within a few pages I found myself thoroughly engrossed in the story, rooting for the protagonist, and recoiling in chills from the hordes of walking dead. This is a pretty typical end-of-the-world zombie apocalypse book, but the characters and situation feel very fresh here and make for some great entertainment. The style of the narrative, that of daily journal entries, ensures that the protagonist isn't going to die anytime soon, but it still manages to keep the reader on the edge of his seat. For fans of horror or zombie fiction I highly recommend this book.Book Review: K.I.S.S.

keep it simple stupid. This book does everything right by doing just that. I read this in a mere two days. I couldn't put it down. Being a huge zombie fan I have recently found a deluge of zombie fiction out there. This book has been my favorite by far. It has a D.I.Y. feel to it with the pictures and drawings and it read so fluidly due to its journal concept. I think Mr. Bourne needs to get out of the military and concentrate on writing. It is his true calling. I recommend this book to anyone looking for a quick read that you won't be able to put it down. My heart sank when it was over knowing I was going to have to wait for the sequel.
