Book Reviews of Dandelion: Memoir of a Free SpiritBook Review: This Dandelion is taking root with the wind! Summary: 5 Stars
Catherine James book had me locked in from the first paragraph. I loved taking a trip with her, growing up in Hollywood, being the daughter of wacky parents and the insanity of the 60's free love movement. She had great taste in music and rock stars, and you feel you are right there with her while reading along. I couldn't put it down, read the whole thing in 2 days! I highly recommend it.
Book Review: Loved it!!! Summary: 5 Stars
What a lucky break to have stumbled across this book. I loved it. The brush with the gods of rock was interesting, but the real story was her grit and determination to make a remarkable and happy life for herself. I always thought that you can be anything you want to be and she proved that. Very inspiring!! Hope the future holds more books from Catherine, I for one can't wait....
Book Review: My three faves Summary: 5 Stars
I am madly in love with this book. Between this, Rebel Heart (Bebe Buell) and Wonderful Tonight (Pattie Boyd) I am in muse heaven.
I could read these books over and over again and be perfectly delighted.
These women have CLASS and truly informed the art the boys in the band put out there.
Bravo Ms. James.
Book Review: Cinderella meets Forrest Gump Summary: 5 Stars
So much more than a mere kiss and tell. Filled with illustrious storytelling from cover to cover. An inspiration for any and all who value the adventure of playing life like a game and winning. Colorful, humorous, and enchanting. Cinderella meets Forrest Gump. Oprah is sure to review this one favorably.
Book Review: Absolutely Wonderful Story... Summary: 5 Stars
What an amazing life. And beautifully written.
Amazingly, the remarkable string of famous liasons from Mic Jagger, to Jimmy Page are really secondary in the value of the book. The stroy of her childhood is absolutely tragic and inspiring.
What a terrific fist book. Bravo!
