Catherine clearly has an incredible life. Just overcoming her childhood abuse makes her a heroine. The people she meets during the height of the rock era are amazing. There are so many "Gee whiz!" events and people, however, that it seems like a lot of analysis, exposition, and self-reflection are missing. It is not a deep book, but it is definitely an interesting quick read.
