Book Review: Mothers and daughters can enjoy this together!

I'm a grandmother of 5 young children. My daughter is a mother of a one year old. We use this game for fun and exercise. We first tried this at the Jersey Shore on the boardwalk and since then I've wanted to buy one of these games. My son gave me a giftcard for Amazon and I used it to purchase these pads. I didn't realize that the DVD didn't come with it, but I made that my next purchase so I could use the game. I think some of the other choices had pads and the DVD included. It's made very well and has a very good range of songs and ability levels and the price is right. Some of the reviews I read seemed negative regarding the pads rolling and needing to be mounted on wooden boards. I found none of that to be true. We use it on a carpeted floor, in either our stocking feet or with bare feet. It works great, gives an incredible workout while you're having lots of fun. This can be used by either 1 or 2 people. We like the competition that's why I bought the one with 2 pads.
Summary of Dance Dance Revolution Dance Pad
The Pad lights up with LED lights when you play!! This is the least expensive pad of excellent quality out there. It is a soft pad and can be folded. But you really should remember to fold it in thirds so the stepping areas don't get creased. A cushy carpet combined with the softness of the pad does NOT negatively affect the sensitivity of the controller.Book Subjects
