Book Reviews of Cursor's Fury (Codex Alera, Book 3)Book Review: Fantasy at War Summary: 5 Stars
Magic takes a decided step away from center-stage in this 3rd entry in the Codex Alera series as the focus is on Tavi assuming the role of a legionairre. The action, strategy, and interactions between characters are very strong in this book. Even better, past history is finally addressed, and the truth of Tavi's origin and lack of furies is revealed.
A taut, engaging book that will have you turning pages quickly.
Book Review: Codex Alera, great epic fantasy Summary: 5 Stars
In the third book in the Codex Alera, we finally get some answers to tantalizing mysteries posed in the first two (Furies of Calderon, Academ's Fury). All three books feature finely drawn and well developed characters, non-stop action and colorful locations. If you like Lord of the Rings, you're going to love this. I wouldn't recommend reading this one without reading the other two because they are truly all one story.
Book Review: Exciting Summary: 5 Stars
I LOVE this book! I am so pleased that I stumbled upon Jim Butchers books and started to read this series. I is riveting in all the ways that matter and I can't put it down. It surpasses the first book which I thought was just great and now I am really hooked into this series. I can't wait to see what happens next. Keep writing Jim, I love your exciting imagination!
Book Review: my favorite fantasy series ever Summary: 5 Stars
i love the codex alera series...constantly changing -- no repetitive storylines.
There are other great authors: Modesitt, Norton, Jordan, etc. but so far this series is my favorite one --- if you love fantasy, this one is great.
