Book Reviews of Culture Warrior

Book Review: Good Stuff Presented In A Very Readable Style Of Writing
Summary: 5 Stars

I've read several books by Bill O'Reilly and were impressed with each one, but this is is best. Frankly, I liked him as a writer mroe than as a TV host, although I admit "The Factor" is usually interesting. On TV, I find I'm either applauding the man or wanting to punch him!

The book, however, doesn't bring out opposite reactions in me. That's probably because he sticks to the main topic (and isn't interrupting people!): today's culture. What he writes is mostly just common sense but what is most impressive is how "readable" this book is. It's like he's on his show just talking to you. O'Reilly is smart enough not to get bogged down with boring, too indepth material and writes as he talks.

I wish more authors would write as one would talk sitting across a table from you, and in plain English. As the case here, they would wind up with best-sellers.

Book Review: Sex harassment lawsuit in no way negates what he has to say about morality
Summary: 5 Stars

Although the tape recordings of his depraved sex harassment phone calls to his producer Andrea Mackris are deeply disturbing and reveal a dark, sick side to this otherwise genial and intelligent talk show host, I believe O'Reilly is still morally superior to the liberal secularists who oppose the war and buy Dixie Chicks albums. It may be true that most liberals have never paid out a multi-million dollar settlement as part of a sexual harrassment lawsuit like O'Reilly has. But liberals such as Tim Robbins and Linda Ronstadt are, by their liberal nature, morally inferior to a great culture warrior like O'Reilly, even though there is no evidence that they have done anything as morally repugnant as the disgusting phone calls made by O'Reilly.

Book Review: Rational Opinions Count
Summary: 5 Stars

Bill has done in this book what most people are too scared to do. He has opened the eyes of many, but I'm afraid the politically correct crowd will be offended. In typical O'Reilly fashion, he has been straightforward in his assessment of society. All that is right and all that (or who) causes the wrongs in the direction this country is going in are discussed. I think since he is such a polarizing figure, many people will not even be open-minded enough to read this for the true intent. One of the things I admire Bill for is that no matter what the topic there are facts that will back up his assertions. Jim Fargiano, author of The Spoken Words of Spirit: Lessons From The Other Side

Book Review: Good Read
Summary: 5 Stars

[...] Nowhere near Ann Coulter at all. Bill is an INDEPENDENT not a conservative. Take the advice from someone who is neutral and has an open mind. This book is not bad like some want you to think. Do I agree with Bill on everything...NO. Bill is as arrogant as ever but I like that in people who will call you on your crap. I do see that there is a culture war as Bill puts it. They are trying to kill religion. I don't even believe in religion but I'm not so dumb and narrow minded to see what's going on. Values in America have taking a back seat giving rise to agendas on both sides for years and the middleman suffers (people like me). And it's getting worse. [...]

Book Review: Stunningly Brilliant Tour de Force
Summary: 5 Stars

Bill O. proves once again that he's THE MAN. His deep loathing for the God-hating, America-hating puke left elements is palpable. I've proudly been using his term "secular-progressive traitors to America" since the moment I read it. And his piece on Rather, Reid, Pelosi, Soros, Boxer, Durbin, Dodd, Murtha, Sulzburger,Teddy and the rest of "Osama's gaggle of bedwetting, braying apologists and lickspittles here on America's sacred soil" expose these squalid lab specimens for what they really are. I take my cap off and thank this great American for his stalwart defense of the America I know and love.
