I liked it a lot!!!! i ordered both of them and i liked them although they have some stuff you would never use its a great book to buy and of course ill do some spells that comes from it.
Summary of Crone's Book of Charms & Spells
If you're looking for a book with lots of practical techniques and spells, you want Valerie Worth's Crone's Book of Charms & Spells (previously published as The Crone's Book of Wisdom).In these pages you'll find how to make talismans and amulets for over 60 purposes. There are talismans for wisdom and against evil, for safety in travel, and to inspire passion. You'll learn how to make a talisman to win love, for improved health, and to be safe from all harm. You'll find dozens more, too.
Also included are the magical powers for over 60 common herbs. The sunflower can bestow great strength upon you. Thistle can be used to treat bleeding wounds. The buttercup confers harmony on a household. How to use these herbs is fully explained in this book, along with instructions for using many more.
Next come "thrice a dozen charms." These 36 charms include one to break a troublesome habit, and another to assuage anger and ill-feeling. Others include a charm to win honor and favor in the eyes of others, and another to procure your heart's desire. Again, you'll find the methods easy to do, but also very effective. You could be doing them tonight!
The last section of this book reveals ceremonies for the year, a set of 12 rituals to be performed on New Year, at mid-February, the equinoxes and solstices, and more. These are ideal if you are a solitary Wiccan, but can also be adapted for group work.
