Book Review: Truely lifelike and well presented projects!

I have bought many books on polymer clay and i must admit this is one of my favorites! The projects are well thought out and presented with easy to follow text and pictures. The animals are very lifelike and the techiniques used to make them are in my opinion sound, i have been sculpting for several years now and learned new techiniques, i am truely pleased with this purchase!Book Review: Great Book!!

This is a wonderful book that I gave as a gift to my dad. He is very artistic and loves sculptures. He was overjoyed at receiving this book and is very anxious to start on his first project. Every project has simple to follow step-by-step instructions. But keep in mind, as with any hobby, there is a lot of materials that you will need to buy in order to complete the projects.Book Review: informative, clear, & delightful

This book is clear & concise for any level of clayer. Katherine has the amazing ability to relay to the sculpter what is needed to bring the sculpt to life while expounding on the importance of a solid foundation.
My only critisim would be that I wanted even more animal examples & will be the first in line to purchase a follow up book should she decide to do one.

This is a book for all people who are afraid to start sculpting animals. This teaches it all, and so easily you would think that sculpting is easy. Many really good projects, very good basic instructions about polymer clay, and some really nifty tools to make. I have been working in polymer for 37 years as an amature and decided it was time to get some professional tips. This book is full of great ideas and easy to read. The illustrations are numerous and very helpful. Even if your polymer art is very different I would recommend this book.
