Crazy Love is a very powerful read. It is one of those books that truly gives us a chance to look inside ourselves and "fix" our lives accordingly to how Christ wants us to live. This book is for the most part an easy read and does not take very long to finish. If you want a lifestyle change, we'd would recommend on starting it off with reading Crazy Love.
We'd also recommend that you buy "When God Stopped Keeping Score," an intimate look at the power of God and forgiveness, which is on sale here on Amazon.com. Given a chance, it too will change your life. The story of two men and the hospital window alone is worth the price of the book.

I am recommending this book to all my Christian friends. Everyone who calls him/herself a Christian would do well to read this book. I can so identify with the author and some of the questions he had and how he viewed God when he was younger. This book, and the online videos, encourage one to go to the Bible and re-read it with the intent of self-examination of the heart. Many times, we consider our Bible reading as being able to check off something on our "to do" list. Francis Chan challenges us to look at our lives in the context of eternity--our best life...later. He drives home the point that God Is great and deserves our all, not our leftovers. Someone told me one time that the gift of salvation is free, but it will cost you everything. God is worthy of our all, and our life in Christ is worth the radical change in us that He promises AND gives.Book Review: Crazy Love

Don't read this book if you are content with your relationship with Jesus Christ. It's a rhetorical statement, as no one should be content with their relationship with Christ. Instead, this book challenges you to look yourself in the proverbial mirror and ask if you are in love with Christ as He is in love with you; if you are, why aren't you truly following His word? I've heard Francis speak once and was fascinated by his passion for developing a deep relationship with Christ. To read his book, you have to ask yourself why you aren't as passionate-not in a fanatical, emotional sense, but in a depth-of-understanding, living-His-word, doing-it-because-you-love-Him way. This book will truly change your life. Crazy Love is exactly what God showed when he gave his son to die for our Sin. I heard it put this way recently, We as people have sinned, the only person who could repay for this sin was God, we could never be good enough to repay our sin. We cannot have a relationship with God without a Moderator, this Moderator is Jesus, God's only Son who God gave to die to repay for the sins we have all committed. That's Crazy Love!
That's not the end though, Jesus rose again with Salvation for all who believe!
This book illustrates how we should live our lives and understand what God has done. Practical points are made and all put in a simplistic language to avoid misunderstanding. Stay focus on the word of God and don't get bogged down with traditions.

As Christians, we tend to get bombarded with all sorts of ideas as to how to please God, while missing the true calling. We always ask: what does God want from me. We all make the mistake of thinking that God is there to please us and not the other way around. Mr. Chan's passion for sharing about God is evident throughout all the chapters by showing the reader that the God that created everything for us wants us in return... in a most loving way. The book and accompanying video can help you stop chasing your own tail in the rat race. God WILL provide for us if we seek Him first, and Mr. Chan compiled all the relevant information for anyone to change the course of their lives and put what should matter most first. This book is a great challenge for those seeking God, the way God wants to be approached.
