Book Review: It doesn't get any better than this
Summary: 5 Stars
Aside from the obvious, that this music is exceptional in all regards, this edition is a bargain for anyone who enjoys reading along while listening to the music (those of us who like to "see" what's we are hearing - very instructive) or for the player (even though I don't play a bowed string instrument, I enjoy reading/playing the parts). You can't go wrong with this well priced edition.
Summary of Complete String Quartets (Dover Chamber Music Scores)
This single volume study score contains all of Mozart's string quartets: the little-known early quartets in an Italianate manner; the six quartets dedicated to Haydn; the D Major Quartet; and the last three quartets written for the King of Prussia. In addition to the 23 string quartets, the alternate slow movement to the G Major Quartet, K.156, is included.
