I was glad to FINALLY see a new/updated version of this book. I've done everything from remodel my house, build a deck & refinish the basement so I have a lot of D-I-Y knowledge and I can't tell you the number of times I've referred to this book "just to be sure" or if I was confronted with an issue I wasn't expecting (any d-i-y'er will tell you SOMETHING will always come up unexpectedly that's the nature of the remodel/renovate business!) to sum it up in ONE word,.... INDISPENSABLE!!! I've had the previous version (for over 10 yrs since the last printing of it!) Worth every penny.
