Book Review: Good Resource

I would actually rank this somewhere between 4 and 5 stars, if possible. There is some room for improvement but it taught me enough to pass the exam on the first try. I had a few other resources, but this was definitely my main resource and where I spent most of my time. Being more on the project management side of security than the actual systems administrator or engineering side, I had my doubts about my ability to pass the exam. I read the book once and was still scoring just under 80% on Comptia's practice exam online (I think that 90 question exam just went to a 30 question exam), so I started reading again and got to the middle of Chapter 7 the second time. The job was pushing me to take the exam quickly, so I started using the practice tests from this book and the online Carnegie Mellon CERT VTE course where I was sponsored free by the job. I took as many practice tests as I could from legit sources and I think that the book, along with seeing so many questions in different formats really helped. I had flagged a lot of questions for review on the actual exam so I definitely had some doubts, but I only ended up changing a few answers so I would say that I had a decent "feel" for the best answer even when I wasn't positive and I think the book helped there. As an additional bonus, I felt I learned a lot from the book, not just the ability to pass the exam. I had bought several other books and would like to compare them but just didn't have time to read the others before taking the test.
