Book Reviews of Come As You Are: The Story of Nirvana

Book Review: Almost brought a tear to my eye
Summary: 5 Stars

Absoutely fantastic. A great and well articulated book written by someone who knows how to write. This book goes way more in dept on Kurt Cobain and the whole band. It phycolgically explans a lot what the band went thru. It doesnt just explain the success of Nrivana but explains a lot truths in life as well. It really is an energy booster and a mind altering book. So inpsiring and lets you see Nirvana in an entirely different way.

Book Review: Come As You Are is the most in-depth book of Nirvana written
Summary: 5 Stars

Come As You Are is the upclose, intimate story of Nirvana, with exclusive in-depth interviews with bandmembers Kurt Cobain, Chris Novoselic, and Dave Grohl, as well as friends, relatives, former bandmembers, and associates. Come As You Are tells the story of Nirvana as no other book does, candidly and firsthand. Come As You Are is by far the most intimate look ever at one of the most significant popular-music groups to emerge in years

Book Review: Awesome!!!
Summary: 5 Stars

If you are Nirvana and/or Kurt Cobain fan, then definatly read this book. It is undoubtly the best Nirvana book out there. Michael Azzerad does a great job of portrying each members lives, before and during there stay as a member of Nirvana. He interviews many people including, Kurt, Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic, Wendy O'Connell (Kurts mom), Courtney Love and friends of band memebers. This book is just neccasary for any Nirvana fan.

Book Review: Entertaining
Summary: 5 Stars

This book really cuts to the proverbial chase and portrays group members as real people with feelings. Azzerand does an excellent job capturing Nirvana's personality and that of it's lead singer who died too soon.

I really don't like conspiracy theories and was glad this did not degenerate into a piece of tabloid garbage. Well researched and written, although the band was friendly with Azzerand the book is unquiely balanced.

Book Review: Great Book!
Summary: 5 Stars

Hey! This book really is awesome. It tought me so much about Nirvana and their History -- from the absolute beginning. The Author, who was one of Kurt's friends describes the life of each band-member in a very detailed way - but it just doesn't get boring! The book starts with the poor beginning of Nirvana and ends with their huge success! Real Fans gotta grab this book!

What are you waiting for? Put it in you cart!!!
