This book is vey cool. More than anything it allows you to see the members of Nirvana for what they were, ordinary people. People that were cool, happy, selfish, mean, sensational and wonderful; just like you and me. You see how the tremendous talent of the band and the peerless songwriting skills of Cobain shot the band into the unforgiving spotlight of fame. This book was one of the greatest book I have ever read. It gave in great detail about the band, and individual members. It also has Kurt telling what his songs are about. If you are a Nirvana I suggest you read this book(even though it is long it is fast reading). In addition to all the things I said, it also has things like where the members came from, about Kurt's parents, past band members, and concerts. This Book is very detailed about the life of Kurt Cobian and his band Nirvana. It has close interviews with the band, family, and friends. It is a very interesting book to read if you like this band or bands like Nirvana. It shows how Kurt and his band made it through the Tours, drugs, and problems. It has 358 pages of interesting facts with rare photos of the band. This book is a good biography on a popular band. When I red this book I was blown away, it has to be one of the best books written on Nirvana Ever. Usually when you hear people talking about Nirvana or you read somthing about them, Its all this negative junk like "Kurt Cobain, His death and drug use" but when I finished this book I saw him as a different person. Come As You Are: The Story of Nirvana is one of my most favorite books in the world, it leaves out nothing! ITS AWSOME SO READ IT!
