Book Reviews of Cobain UnseenBook Review: I'm a little biased Summary: 5 Stars
Ok, I have to say that I am a little biased cause Charles is my step nephew, and I love the style and the way he chose to write this biography. Amazing. I read "Heavier than Heaven" and had in interesting conversation with him about Heavier and Room full of mirrors. I am in the middle of mirrors, but I have to stop for a bit to morph into Cobain unseen. Charles, your great. I love your writing, I can see everything with my minds eye when I read your stuff. Keep it up dude.
Book Review: An unseen pleasure! Summary: 5 Stars
If you considered "Heavier Than Heaven" as the ultimate bio book ever written about mr Cobain, then you'll consider this "Unseen" book as the essential for pic collectors, or at least for those who like to see unfamiliar pictures, private pictures and some weird stuff never released before about the Grunge most famous icon to date.
It has stickers, a CD with some interviews a mask used on the "in bloom" original video and boy, you won't be dissapointed!
Book Review: I love scrapbooks Summary: 5 Stars
I was pleasantly surprised with this book. It did have a lot of pictures I hadn't seen before. I also like how it included personal drawings, notes and even a spoken word CD with Kurt. I think it was well worth the money. I must say that I left this book feeling a little bit more sad than I had reading all the others. Sorry, I'm not very good at reviewing. All I can say is I loved it, great concept.
Book Review: Cobain Unseen Summary: 5 Stars
Charles Cross did a very good job on this book. It is informative and creative. There is a CD included of Kurt reading his journals that is just mesmerizing. The book gives a good detailed picture of Kurt Cobain and his art in it's many forms and leaves the reader wanting more (as do all books about Kurt). I especially would like to see more CD's of Kurt's speaking coming our way.
Book Review: Really Awesome!!!! Summary: 5 Stars
This book was so much more than I expected.
My husband is a huge Nirvana/Kurt Cobain fan and its always a challenge to find him things he doesn't already have collected and this book was by far his favorite Christmas gift this year. Even I was compelled to read through it before I wrapped it up. Best Cobain book out there!!
