Book Reviews of Clear Your Clutter With Feng ShuiBook Review: Liberating Summary: 5 Stars
Whether you buy into feng shui or not, this book could change how you look at what you own.
I first encountered this gem of a book when it initially came out, and over the years I have bought multiple copies for friends and family members.
The basic premise is simple but liberating: If you don't love it or it is not useful, get rid of it. I was so motivated after reading this book that I started sorting the very same night, and within a short period of time I was left with: a heck of a lot less than I had before, but all of it stuff that I loved and valued. And since that time I have retained the same desire to own less, while seeking out quality.
To date I've read many books on simplicity and clutter clearing, and I can honestly say that none of them come even close to this one. It is short and to the point -- and that is the beauty of it.

Book Review: Wonderful! I didn't think I had clutter until I read this... Summary: 5 Stars
I started getting numerous recommendations to read this book. It sounded interesting but I thought "I don't have clutter." Boy was I wrong! When I read the book I realized the many ways I was literally zapping the energy out of different areas of my life due to my clutter. This is one of those books you read in one sitting and believe me I had to force myself not to get up and start work on my apartment. That was over a year ago and since that time a lot of aspects of my life has changed for the better -- my relationship improved, more money started flowing in, and tell you a secret every time I want to manifest or bring new energy into my life a good decluttering always does it. I decided that this book had given me so much that I passed it on to my mother who passed it on to my aunt and so forth. I do think that I will get a copy for my shelf. This is one of those books that is awesome and changed my life for the better. Thank you Karen!
Book Review: feng shui-ing my life Summary: 5 Stars
As a Clutter bug of recent years I can tell you right now if you never found a reason too... PLEASE read this book. Karen doesn't just go over the material but the physical mental health as well. Bought two books for friend and family... It's not just about you but everyone surrounding you in life will get a positive energy. You associate to things in this book that makes you laugh and think twice and remember why and realize why you had kept so many unwanted things in your life. For you non-clutter people I praise you... Please move on to creating scared space with kingston's other book... Non believers, As I think of it. Nothing wrong comes from creating positive space! And for those who are into mystical healing try Denise Linn's Scared Space. Kingston Quotes her I find her a bit descriptive heavy but she provides you years of experiences and various options that you can pick and choose which ever comfortable for you to do.
Book Review: my most valuable book Summary: 5 Stars
If you feel down because you live with junk but don't have the energy, passion or know-how to let it go, this is the book for you. I'm not even sure I subscribe to Feng Shui or space clearing (which this book discusses), but this is a must-have book for the person who needs a push to declutter their home. Ms. Kingston has a wonderfully refreshing style of writing, and this well-organized book offers clear and concise advice regarding various types of clutter (from how to declutter a kitchen to letting go of unnecessary letters and photos). She also touches upon how to stay on top of future clutter and how to organize, and how it is just as important to clean your mind and body. I can't count the number of times I have opened this book just to soak up a few pages of inspiration. I have seen another "declutter expert" on Oprah, and I have scanned other declutter books, but I sincerely feel nothing comes close to this book.
Book Review: Just what I needed to help me start to clear clutter! Summary: 5 Stars
This little book packs a surprisingly powerful punch! I've read books on organization and clutter-clearing before, but most of those just discussed the mechanics of de-cluttering (e.g.: make three piles, buy four bins, etc.)...it's kind of like a weight-loss book that only suggests smaller portion sizes: we all know how THAT works! Instead, Kingston discussed the emotions behind cluttering, the feelings of attachment we have to all those items jammed into our living space. She then facilitates our ability to let go of these unnecessary attachments, and with them the clutter! I am a serioius pack-rat with long history of clutter, but since I read through this book I've been able to let go of an AMAZING amount of stuff! My house and my heart both feel lighter! After I am through with this first pass I plan to re-read the book and clear even more. I just don't have enough words of praise for this author and this book!!
