Book Review: Best cookbook for Texans and Texas wannabes!

I purchased this cookbook hoping for some good Tex-Mex recipes. I received much more. The book has recipes for everyday, as well as special-occasion, cooking. The recipes use ingredients that most of us have in our pantry. It also has Texas facts, tid-bits and "wisdom-isms". My only criticism is that the index is a little difficult to use as the author doesn't always use the common name for a dish. However, I really like the book and will be using it often.
