This work sat around the house for several months b/4 I picked it up.
Why? B/cause I did not think I was in mood to have my aging brain challenged w/things I had to suffer to understand. NOT & WRONG!
This genius writes like your favorite high school or college teacher who you would just love to hang with after class. He is a human being b/4 a scientist & 1 who could care less about whether u were a prince or a pork. Not only does he make ideas and points come to life, he makes you feel the joy of discovering them along w/him. God help us all if anyone focuses on his "safe cracking" skills chapter.
I am giving this book to one of my "hard science" collegues at my school with the hope that it will help him understand me the way I now view him.
Give yourself a holiday treat and pick this up. I promise it will stay in your family for generations as it is a keeper for sure.
